Hello everyone! I am looking for a female to take over a lease for the second bedroom in a two-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in DuPont Circle. It is about an 8-minute walk from the DuPont (red line) metro station and very close to the Safeway grocery store. The room is $1200/month (utilities included). You’d share WiFi with the roommate and pay for laundry next door. Move-in date is flexible (December 15 is the soonest move in date).

I am happy to answer questions via Messenger and send more information and/or pics upon request. Note: The living/ dining areas are furnished as pictured, and the room will include a twin bed and frame (the room photos were taken before I moved in). I have some other furniture and would be open to selling it to whomever takes the lease. 

In addition, if you would like to see it in person, I am happy to show you around this weekend or any evening this upcoming week. 

About the roommate: She is 27 and will be starting her first year of law school in DC this fall. She is looking for a roommate in their mid-20s or 30s who is either in school or works full time. The apartment is pretty small so it is not ideal for gatherings, but overnight guests are welcome as long as we communicate in advance. She is pretty quiet and will be out of the house during the day most days, but tend to value quiet time on weeknights.
