Hi! I recently returned from the Western Balkans where I hiked to small two-room schoolhouses and exchanged culture with some pretty incredible people. I plan on moving down to DC in the next two weeks but need a place to temporarily stay while I shop the perfect place to live and get started with a new job. I am happy to contribute to meals, internet, or pay a small fee as well. I can sleep on a couch in a room in a sleeping bag or wherever your guest space is. It has been really challenging coming back as a volunteer because we work without pay and so your hospitality and generosity would be a huge blessing to my life as I try to get back on my American-Take-Out-Coffee-And-Pantsuit routine. I can provide nannying/dog watching/walking, offer some Balkan meals or even teach you some Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian. (EVEN BETTER IF YOU SPEAK IT :)). Yes, I will bring my Turkish coffee maker and am happy to share a cup.
