I’m Shelby, a 2nd-year GWU grad student looking for a female subletter for my room in a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment at Cortland at National Landing in Arlington, VA.

The sublease would run from late May 2026 through January 27, 2027.

The apartment is in an amazing location — just a 5-minute walk to the Pentagon City Metro, making commuting into DC super easy. It’s also directly across from Pentagon City Mall (literally right by Nordstrom), with Chick-fil-A right across the street.

You’ll also have everything you need nearby:

* Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, and Target are all about a 10-minute walk
* Costco is about a 10–15 minute walk
* Tons of restaurants, shops, and cafes in the area

You’d be living with my current roommate, who is also a GWU grad student (graduating) — she’s friendly, respectful, clean, and easy to live with. You’ll have your own private bedroom and bathroom.

Cost breakdown:

* Base rent: $1,470.50/month
* Additional fees (utilities, amenities, liability): ~$170/month
